Changing Schools in US -Difficult?

Hi ,I have a query .Say If I go to A university in Jan'14( A has a Spring Start),be there through the 1st semester. Before the 1st semester ends, suppose I get admit from a better university say -B. (B's program begins only in August - Fall Start).How to transfer from A university to B - Only show new I-20 to the first university ?How easy is the transfer. How to make a hassle free transfer - while remaining in proper legal status. I understand credit transfer to a new university is very difficult. But in this case, there's no need to request transfer of credits since B's full time program begins in August'14. Thanks..I am an international applicant.

You need to ask the schools directly.

Typically, if we're talking about AACSB-accredited MBA programs, this will probably be very difficult. Business schools tend to want you to take all of your credits in their program, so they set up barriers to make credit transference harder.

THANKS . So, if I go to the New school, I will have to take all their courses. Will the New School deny me admission because I have attended grad school somewhere else(Just a semester) . If I'm ok with taking all the courses at the new school without a credit transfer, the school should have not have any issue accepting me to their program? what do you think

That seems like a good question to put to the New School. The certainly won't exclude someone simply because they have started somewhere else, but they will be interested in your grades and why you want to move. Some schools will wonder about your tenacity and commitment.

The other thing I should mention is that there are some US MBAs which are typically 30 to 36 credits and designed to be completed by people who have already taken prerequisite foundation courses. They are typically full-time in one year when core courses are waived (e/g http://www.bridgeport.edu/academics/graduate/master-business-administration-mba/flexible-programs/accelerated-mba/ ), or flexibly by distance learning (like the Wisconsin MBA http://www.wisconsinonlinemba.org/).
