Decent schools with no GMAT requirement

Hi,

I was just informed by my employer that i could get sponsorship if i get accepted in an MBA program by Sept. I have not prepared or taken any GMAT before, but i would like to take this chance and apply to colleges.

I have a bachelor in chemical engineering and i've worked for 6 years, 2 of those in a manegerial position.

I'm looking for a decent school in the east, NY, VA, DC, MD area. Not for a top 50 or anything but something decent for what competences i have.

I've done some post graduate courses in project management and have strong recommendations from top management.

I appreciate your advise with regards to universities i have greater chances getting into in this short time.

Take the GMAT. It's not so hard, if you have an engineering background, and it will let you get into a school you are proud of.

Looking in the zone between DC and NYC, some non-top 50 (in my book) schools are:
Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey--New Brunswick and Newark (NJ)
George Washington University (DC)
Temple University (Fox) (PA)
College of William and Mary (Mason) (VA)
American University (Kogod) (DC)
CUNY Bernard M. Baruch College (Zicklin) (NY)
Fordham University (NY)
Hofstra University (Zarb) (NY)
Howard University (DC)
Pace University (Lubin) (NY)

Thank you Duncan for your reply. Unfortunately i've missed the deadline for most of these universities to start this year. I've applied to several UK schools and got accepted. I will post in the corresponding section.
