My brief bio:
Graduation- B.E in Computer science
Citizenship- India
Work Exp - 4 years in a reputed software company
Current residence - Salt lake city, Utah.
Visa category - H4(doesn't allow me to work).
Gmat - Taken once in 2012, Scored 590. Can do better. Expecting more than 650 if taken next time.
Next goal - To pursue dual degree MBA + MA in education. Post graduation interested in taking up roles in education management/leadership role.
Colleges offering the above course - Below are some of the good colleges that I have shortlisted.
1) Boston college - Caroll school of management
2) University of Michigan - Ross school of business
3) Stanford University - GSB
4) Dropped University of California, LA as it requires 5 years experience as a principal.
My Questions:
1) Already the admissions final round for most of the colleges are over. It will be an year waster for me if I wait till next year. Any good colleges offering admissions in spring ?.
2) In the mean time that i join course, is there anywhere in education field that I can do internships/volunteering ?. I have tried idealist.org(found none), teach for america(TFA) and some similar programs. TFA and others that i checked requires work permit visas or US citizenship. Please suggest me some links or any openings .
