Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is in great health!
This is Navtej from India.
I am a CS graduate with CGPA 8/10, and currently working as a Technology Consultant with one of the big4 firms.
I recently gave GMAT and scored 700(Q49 V36).
I really have no idea if this score is good or bad and currently, I am phased out on which college to apply for.
Some of my concerns:
-I will have 3 years of work-ex while entering the class, which is usually considered on the lower end of spectrum.
-With 700 and IEM(Indian, Engineer, and Male), I don't know which colleges should I consider applying to.
Within my work ex, I held leadership positions and also had a promotion.
I was also part of core board of various CSR activities at my college and my organization.
Other than that, I also hold Public Relations Manager and Treasury positions at various local community clubs.
Due to active involvement in out-of-my-field engaging activities, I became pretty much interested in Marketing side of things and want to get the right skills for the same.
I am looking to focus my time while MBA at Marketing and would love to find positions (Marketing Manager, Brand Management or Product manager) in CPG or Technology Industry in US primarily.
I also reached out to colleges such as Fisher, Terry, McKim, Madison, COX to see what I could make up of my time at MBA, and now I am more confused.
Would love help from anyone who can help clear out some air.
I know suggesting school or admissions may not be at anyone's hand, but would love to see any of the factors that might help me to make a better decision.
I tried to be as thorough as possible, but let me know if any more information is needed.
Hope everyone is in great health!
