What exactly is your question? Hofstra's ranked in Businessweek, although quite low. But that's better than not being ranked at all!

It doesn't have the greatest placement rate (57 percent within 3 months of graduation,) but it does place about a third of grads into financial services.

Certainly one of the other New York Schools (NYU or Columbia) would be better for a career in finance, no?

Looks like Hofstra places more in financial services, while the focus at Lubin is certainly consulting.

But why not ask the schools directly for placement stats?

It's confusing, and it's ridiculous that the school makes it confusing. It looks like most of the MBA specializations require between 41 and 48 credit hours, and graduate tuition at Zarb looks to be $1,170 per credit hour:

So that means that the whole MBA will cost between $47,970 and $56,160. The exception is the specialization in professional accountancy, which prepares students to sit for the CPA exam and thus requires between 62 and 69 credit hours, so it's more.

Ask the school directly though.
