Katz + full tuition scholarship vs. potential Tepper admit

So I've been offered a full tuition scholarship for the MBA at Katz.

However, I have an interview at Tepper.

At this point I'm wondering if I should just say screw Tepper and go with Katz. It's a great opportunity and the financial situation is very good for me.

I also applied to Wharton but that was a long shot anyway and they declined without interview.

I think this depends on your background and goals. As a rule of thumb, a scholarship is discount to sweeten the lost opportunity of a better school.

I would hold off on the decision as long as you can. You could leverage that full-tuition offer if / when Tepper offers you an admit.

Tepper is probably the better choice, for most applicants. On average, graduates tend to have better salaries after the Tepper MBA than the Katz MBA (I believe it's 143k USD vs. 105k three years after graduation, according to the FT Global MBA ranking. You can do the math but you'd probably remove the sunk cost for the Tepper MBA pretty quickly, all things considered.

Wanted to let you guys know that I accepted a spot at Tepper in December. They offered me a scholarship which will help offset the cost but it was nowhere near as generous as the Katz offer. Had to go with Tepper due to its strengths in finance placements at least compared to Katz.
