low undergraduate gpa

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has advice as to the effect a low undergraduate gpa has on the potential to be excepted into a top mba program. Specificly, I graduated as an undergraduate with a 2.7 gpa. However, I will soon be finishing my PhD in molecular biology with a 3.3 gpa, and I was wondering if a high score on the GMAT could potentialy balance out my low gpa and give me any sort of chance at getting into a top school.

Your PhD gpa might make a difference, I should think. We'd probably need a bit more information to give you advice.

How much and what kind of work experience do you have?

Are you interested in changing your career? getting an MBA after a PhD is a lot of schooling.

wow Phd in Molecular Biology i know it is alot of schooling. but what matter is always go for what you want. i really think with your Phd gpa and a good GMAT scores will land you to a top school.
