Hi-
I'm a 33 year old IT professional with nearly10 years working experience in India, and graduated a 4 year program from Delhi university with 56% in 2005 and planning to take GMAT. My career goal is to be a Project Manager (I'm currently started doing it, but I need more PM skills to excel on this area) -> Consulting/IT Manager or shift to a Management Consultant -> and eventually setting up a business.
Currently I'm looking for an MBA program that can add either consulting or general management skills, with opportunities to land a job after the MBA in Canada preferably in IT/service sector. My prime area of interest is Business Analytic, Project Management and International Business. Therefore I'm thinking of Canada with a good prospect on foreign talent's employment.
With my limited budget, and my country's limitation in getting a loan, I was thinking that internship projects would be the best option to land post-MBA jobs.
I need your valuable feedback in this matter.
1. Will my age will effect the chances in getting into good B School.?
2. Will my low graduation score is hurdle to get into a MBA program?
3. Which B school suits best for me considering post studies job opportunities.?
4. Is Canadian degree is globally recognized?.
Thanks and warm regards,
Amit
