Presidio or Umass Amherst?

Hi, I am trying to decide on which school to choose. Anyone have any experience in these schools? Which one would look better on a resume? I really like the idea of sustainable management but I don´t think id want to live in san francisco after i graduate so i wonder if it is nationally known. Same as UMass, I wouldn´t want to end up in massachusetts after.. And Presidio would be more expensive so I want to make sure it would be worth it. Opinions?

Honestly, i am kindof undecided. Preferably in the long run, perhaps international. I just don´t want a degree that will tie me down to one state..

So why are you looking at those schools, rather than ones with more international reputations. At least UMass sounds like a university. People think the Presidio is still a military base.

Come on now. I think people in the sustainability scene will know what Presidio is and isn't when it comes to an MBA.

But the other point Duncan makes about international reputation is good. Why not look at better ranked schools with sustainability tracks like Berkeley, Cornell, British Columbia or Schulich?

The Presidio MBA is known in part of the sustainability world but, seriously, the Travolta film is much more known. "The University of (state_name)" or "(city_name) University" will always have an edge of assumed quality over an unrecognised name.

Usually, yes. Always, no. I'll take Thunderbird versus University of Phoenix any day, and so would most job recruiters.
