Hello community!
I'm in the process of short listing my MBA application targets. I'm looking for feedback on my choices.
But first a little about me. I'm a 28 / m in software / web development. Liberal arts undergrad, about 5 years of overall experience. GMAT score is 710. I'm looking to leverage my background in development plus and MBA to get into management at Amazon, Google, Facebook et al.
Here are the schools / MBA Programs I may or may not apply to:
Michigan (Ross)
Washington (Foster)
Berkeley (Haas)
MIT (Sloan)
Carnegie Mellon (Tepper)
I understand that MIT may be a long shot, but hey, life is short and the application fee is not too expensive.
If I'm being honest with myself Haas is at the top of the list because I don't really want to leave the Bay Area. But if there's something else that's better suited to my goals I would take it.
Any comments / feedback?
