There is nothing inconsistent or untrue in what I have written.

The OneMBA provide two diplomas.
1. An accredited mba degree from one of the schools

What would school you recommend for the person who started this thread, and is looking for a programme in Europe that leads to a US MBA degree?

For many students, an mba is merely a box to check. They want a brand on their resume. Simply look at the rankings list, find an American school, and do the due diligence.

However, there is more to education than a brand. I challenge our colleague to assess the substance of the program. There are important differences in American and European education styles. In general, the European schools may do a better job on soft skills. For people who are very technical, working on emotional intelligence, may be important investment.

Consider where you want to work, which company, which country. Network with some of their employees. Find out whether they went to school and whether it was an advantage.

Is an American degree really that important? What about academic performance in the program? Does the company have alumni from the prospective school?

Duncan / thanks again for committing so much time in helping others to make the right career decisions - To conclude on the thread, what would be your personnal take on Kellogg WHU? Do you believe it truly has the same value as getting an MBA from Northwestern (from their admission manager: "it is a joint MBA Degree conferred by both Northwestern University (of which Kellogg is the business school) and WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management")? In my case, I've spent and will spend probably my entire career working in US companies or in Anglo-Saxon countries ... this definitely feels like a high ROI ...

It has a very high value. Of course the experience is different from the full time MBA but it is a strong course. Personally I preferred the London EMBA because of the greater depth (more days on campus, more electives) and higher quality cohort. However the Kellogg programme is a very strong brand.
