What are good accountancy/finance programs in Asia-Pacifc that would constitute good preparation for a career in Equity/Bond research? Please do not suggest the CFA, I am interested in a good MBA program with that focus.

I am interested in the same area. HK USt is great !you go to top USA/Europe Finance schools as mandatory part of the MBA program.

Perhaps a CAIA designation if you wanted to get involved with hedge funds/fund of funds? going to school in HK will certainly help you in securing desired employment upon graduation
