I see. That score is definitely on the low end of the spectrum, and that makes your work experience and associated experience.

I say you should still at least consider an EMBA program, the reason being that 11 years of experience puts you pretty far above the average for most MBA programs, and there is such a thing as being over-qualified.

For example, the average work experience for the HKUST MBA program is only four years.

i agree with Ralph - although your GMAT is a bit on the low side, our work experience may cover that fact, although you will have to show how relevant it was in your interview and essays(you should however consider taking it again). where you in managerial positions? if not, you should think about all the different positions you had, and how you present them during your application process, in turns of what you learned from it, and what it can bring to your studies. as for how good is HKU - you should search this forum - there are lots of threads on this subject(and lots of different opinions.....)

focus and try to take the test again. thats a really low score, work experience may not be enough.

yes, I am planning to retake gmat.
I have about 4+ yrs of managerial experience. Also extensive exposure to global delivery model (software development).
According to HKU website, the university can waive the gmat requirement for ppl with exp > 7 yrs.
