What does it take?

Hi
I am considering to do an MBA in Bangkok or Manila but I am wondering what it takes study-wise and whether I have the qualifications from a mathematical point of view. I finished a Masters of Arts degree 12 years ago. Today I am working as a regional sales manager.

How many hours do people in general study per week?
Should I do any pre-math courses and if yes, which kind? Never done any hardcore math classes.

I think this will vary a lot between universities. You should ask the admissions advisors at you the MBA programmes you are interested in. I imagine you are looking for a part-time programme, and I would guess that you should expect to need at least the maths skills of a bright 16-year old. I think a good example is the Foundation level skills in the British GSCE exam: http://www.edexcel.com/migrationdocuments/GCSE2010/Content_Exemplification_A.pdf
1. Numbers
2. Algebra
3. Geometry
4. Measures
5. Statistics
6. Probability.

What will be more important is skill building formulae in Excel. Over workload will be 15-20 hours a week to study part time, excluding classes.

Still in the consideration phase. Depending on how my career develops, I could start in Fall 2013 (Europe time).
Copenhagen Business School and others have prep courses that focus on math and others. AIM in Manila or Assumption/Chulalongkorn in BKK.
