The NPV may be very low, or even negative.

As half-Greek, I know first hand the mess that is Greek education system.
There is a law in Greece that forbids the police from entering any university (unless they have a special invite from the Dean, which is very very very rare).

As a result you will encounter numerous drug dealers inside the university grounds, as well as many illegal vendors selling imitations of real items. Junkies OD-ing in the corridors outside classrooms, is not unheard of.

Also, universities in Greece are extremely politicized. They even have mirror-elections where "youth" versions of the major (real) political parties are elected to rule over the student unions.

To top it off. If your degree is not from Greece, you need a lengthy procedure (at doatap.gr) where they will check if the university you attended is "equal" to Greek level...
If your degree is from the EU, this will go reasonable fast, but you may be required to bribe 3000-4000e during the process. (Bribes are getting less common recently because the process is starting to get standard for EU universities)

It is election season Greece so some weeks ago there was a raid in AUEB and they rooted out some drug dealers: http://www.ekathimerini.com/240726/article/ekathimerini/news/police-seizes-large-drug-haul-in-athens-bust but such raids are not happening often.

despite all that, it is still the 3rd best MBA you can do in Greece.

Also, Greek employers will 100% know and value that university (formerly known as ASOEE - this name was so famous in Greece, people still use the name even if the university renamed 30 years ago to OPA since 1989)

It is much much much more likely for a Greek employer to know and recognize the brand name ASOEE than to know Strathclyde... or even HEC or INSEAD!
