Full time programmes will help you to transition to the UK. A distance learning MBA won't really help you to get a job in UK healthcare. Why not look at routes for experienced MDs.

Currently am working for exams to get certificates required for equivalence to practice medicine in UK in the same time I wished to finalize 50% at least of the MBA program before moving.
Accordingly I checked the UK universities present in UAE but the cost considers unreachable for me.
Also I checked the programs offered through NHS leadership academy but unfortunately they request to be currently working in UK in order to get the scholarship.
I would be grateful if you could recommend/ suggest a program that may be suitable for my profile.

I don't understand why you want an MBA.

To simplify the issue, am a physician practicing medicine in my home country parallel to having around 9 years experience in healthcare management and my goal is to keep my profile as a healthcare manager and to support my career by joining MBA program.

So you are looking for a management role in the NHS rather than a clinical role?

To major extent, yes but I am not intent to leave medicine completely. Hence, the main area of interest for me is management.

Most healthcare into the UK is nationalised. Would a business qualification really be better than in healthcare administration or project management?

I have reviewed many comments here that General MBA is usually better than healthcare program.
Regarding health administration, I tried to check UK programs which I found that main focus of these programs belongs to public/ global health rather than healthcare administrations.
While I never search for project management programs and its value to reach my goal.

Do people in the roles you are targeting typically hold an MBA?

Am not sure, may be they get their role by seniority after years of working but I don’t wish such scenario for myself.
Also, there is an administration fellowship program for people seeking for hospital administration role after getting either MBA or healthcare administration in USA as well as Australia.
From your point of view; what the next step I should go for it?

I think you should focus on the country to want to go to, and see what path was taken by people with your background who have made that transition. I am unsure that, in the UK, an MBA will be useful for you.
