RSM is much better. Is is one of the top 40 EMBAs worldwide http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/emba-rankings-2011 while Durham is not in the top 100.

Thank you JK Duncan. Your posts are very informative.
Looking at the ratings RSM definitely scores higher. I also liked the way the way the Program has been structured at RSM. It provides greater flexibility to folks with full time career. However the fees of RSM are slightly more expensive than Durham.

There are 26 EMBAs in the top 100 from European Union universities. Rotterdam is in the middle of that group, with an average salary of $143,412 (very close to the average across all 26 of $143,872.)
The average salary across the bottom ten, however, is $125,013. It seems reasonable to assume that Durham's average salary will be at, or below, that level.
In reality, the wage gap will widen over time, but if we assume it's the same, then the RSM EMBA is worth $18,859 a year extra. Over a 30 year post-MBA career that is more than half a million dollars.
That seems worth the additional fees. RSM costs $49,172 while Durham costs $28,211 on campus or $36,264 in Germany. The added investment pays for itself in less than 14 months.
PS I'm assuming there that you're looking at the RSM-only EMBA, not the OneMBA which RSM participates in.

Hi,,, but why are you considering only those schools?
Because it's quite strange to compare RSM and Durham... For a similar price than RSM(44000e) you can have: Essec-Mannheim (49000e), Cranfield(40000e), Warwick(40000e), Cass(50000), Imperial(50000e)

Hi Maubia,
Thanks for the information.
I am considering these two schools only because of the logistics and convenience to attend the face to face classes. Both the schools are about 3 hours? drive from where I live (Germany). Durham also has classes (EMBA only) in Germany close to Frankfurt every month.
Thanks for the information.

Thanks Maubia, I am checking the Mannheim Track. Seems like RMS scores higher than Essec-Mann in the FT rankings. Your thoughts?

sorry but weren't you interested in EMBA?
check emba ranking... Essec-Mann performs a little better than RSM (which runs also Onemba). By the way I just wanted to offer you another valuable option..
