Hi,
I'm an Indian engineer with over 6 years of work-ex in the Oil & Gas industry in Project Management and Operations. I have admits from HHL Leipzig and the Schulich school of business. After speaking with alums/current students of both schools, I haven't got any solid suggestions as to which school to go for as there are mixed opinions. My rationale for considering each school is as follows:
Reasons to consider Schulich:
- Better reputation (better ranked, better brand globally)
- No need to learn a new foreign language (such as German in the case of HHL) for job search
- Better course flexibility (more specialization options and customization)
Reasons to consider HHL:
- Economical (tuition fee is less than half of the same at Schulich + less living expenses at Leipzig vis-a-vis Toronto)
- German economy is stronger and more stable
I hope someone could help me in better evaluating this comparison so that I could reach a decision.
Thanks.
