How does the system work?

Hello,

I am a French student studying in what is called prépa. After 2 years of HORRIBLE engineering prépa, I decided to get into a business school here in France to study Finance. So here I am wait-listed for EDHEC (the best you can apply to after 2 years of Maths in France) and accepted at GGSB, the thing is, IF they call me for EDHEC it will be in September, and I would have already have paid for GGSB...

Now GGSB is quite under what I was hoping for. Next year if everything goes well, I'll have the BIB degree (it's opened to 20 students from the french prépa system) and going towards the GGSB's Msc in Finance (Wich is good, sure but I want to try and get better). But in France, no way I'll be able to apply to EDHEC or better.

So I'd like to know if I with a good GMAT score I can get a better Msc abroad (UK/Europe/US) even though I have what is considered here in France a very mediocre degree : GGSB's BIB, or do good Msc recruit only people with good Bachelors, just like the biggest firms only recruit people from the best schools...

And if I don't get the BIB's positive response and enter GGSB's classic French system that doesn't award me a degree before the master, I am basically f*cked?

French candidates with your training are highly respected by international programmes in finance. If you can't get into EDHEC this year, then do the BIB and apply to an international programme (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2012) at somewhere like Oxford, IE, Cranfield or St Gallen. Grenoble is okay, but the salaries are really inferior.

I am want to do an MBA from very much reputation business school in UK. Please give me your suggestions, fees is not problem as my father will finance me. I am not have any outside work experience but i sometime go to my father office.

I am seen this ranking but it is very confusion. There are so many bsuiness school in UK and i am dont no which is to select.

LBS is very long mba and i donot have time more than 1 year. can u tell which is better between oxford, cambraje and warick.

Lille the first year, Nice the next, I'm getting the double degree (Master in Management and one of the Msc in Finance) so I'll be getting my degree in 2016 (1 year in Lille, 1 year in Nice, 1 year as an intern and the final year in either Nice, London or Singapour depending on the Msc in finance I want)
