International MBA: EMLyon vs EDHEC

Hello!

I'm wondering which MBA has more brand equity between EMLyon and EDHEC in France and perhaps Europe as a whole. Both programs seem strong and most rankings I've seen have both in the top 5. Can anyone point out what each school offers that maybe the other doesn't?

Emlyon is especially strong for entrepreneurs. EDHEC is a bit more corporate, and notable for finance and risk in particular. I think Emlyon is better know outside France. In France, EDHEC has risen fast over the last 20 years.

Hard to get data on EDHEC because the two entries a year produce small cohorts. However the 2018 FT ranking put it much higher, with much better salary and career services, and very marginally better international mobility. However, Emlyon students' lower salaries and better French skills get them into work faster. Nice as a city is much easier than Lyon to survive in without developing your French. Disclaimer: EDHEC and Lyon uni alumnus.

Yes. I really like the way they have overlapping cohorts, but it does create issues.
