I don't understand how you think I am misleading this person, because it certainly is the case that the chances of getting jobs differ between MBAs.
- First, that's the because the outcomes are provably different. At ESMT, for example, the FT reports that 85% of students were employed (47th best out of all schools within 3 months according to The Economist
http://www.economist.com/whichmba/esmt-european-school-management-and-technology/2013). At Mannheim, it's 96%: substantially better (see
http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-ranking-2014), and 36th best out of all schools within 3 months (
http://www.economist.com/whichmba/mannheim-business-school/2013). These are clearly different outcomes, and will not be better at most of the other German MBA programmes.
- Second that's because the person is an international student. International mobility, the ability of people to work in other countries, also differs. Clearly the language skills of graduates from different programmes differ. Esslingen requires basic German upon arrival. Pforzheim does not.
- Third that's because the MBAs differ. Esslingen is focussed on industrial businesses; Pforzheim is focussed on international management; HHL is known for entrepreneurship; ESMT has concentrations in innovation and sustainability.
The idea that all MBAs have the same employment prospects is simply not true.
