London Business School seems to be the best choice, but considering how hard it might be to get in, are there any other close contenders in London, and if not, within England, when it comes to IB? Thanks.

They are not close contenders! Bayes, Insead, and Wharton MBAs can get well placed but LBS has a very special place.
Perhaps if you cannot get into the LBS MBA the LBS MiF, MFA or MiM could also work better than an MBA elsewhere.

I would say beside obviously LBS MBA / MiM & M7 for Europe you would have to consider INSEAD and IESE (and maaaaybe HEC) to have a credible shot.
Insead places IMO not as well as IESE for IB in London as they are super consulting focused. Ages ago (in my MiM time) when I recruited (unsuccessfully I have to admit as I ended up in consulting) for IB I always stumpled upon the European Big3 (LBS / Insead / IESE) when it comes to MBA programmes for IB. So I would say: Try LBS if that does not work I would shoot my shot at Insead/IESE and only then look at other UK programs working based on the assumption that if you cannot get into LBS nor IESE nor Insead you definitely do NOT have a shot at M7 programs in US.
