Hi Vikram,
Thank you very much for your annotations. Allow me to comment them:
1) It is the oldest state accredited university in Germany.
It is the oldest private German university for business!!!
Since the German university system is dominated by public institutions, this is nothing special. And compared with Mannheim, Frankfurt, or HHL, EBS is very young.
2) It is having 150 partner schools on their list.
This is also not very remarkable. It is the standard for any German university.
3) Their faculty majorly comprises of Ph.Ds.
This is also normal for Germany. In the renowned German MBA programs, you won't find many faculty members without PhD.
4) Their MBA (full time) was started in 2008. May be thats the reason that to start with they are having a small batch.
This is not an explanation. When you look at Goethe Frankfurt they launched their program in 2009 with more than 30 students.
5) They have 200 leading corporate partners listed on their website.
As I already mentioned regarding the partner schools, this should be a normal number for any good German business school.
Can you throw some light regarding job prospects in Germany after full time MBA, if one is having 4-5 years of work experience in engineering sector & a good command in German language ?
First of all, Germany has not been that much affected by the crisis as the US or the UK. That means, job opportunities should be much better there at the moment. German companies are looking for excellently educated talent, especially engineers. However, a very good command of German is a must in nearly companies, especially the SMEs (the so called backbone of the German economy)!
Best,
JL
