(I assume you are not from Scandinavia yourself): If you are looking for non- MBA related criteria: For having fun, the Helsinki nightlife is supposed to be one of the best in Europe, but then again you have got the climate issue (rather dark in winter). Copenhagen is also known to be a place where you can have alot of fun, maybe not as hip but very lively. Oslo has a repuation for being rather dull (and you also have the climate issue). So much for non-academic criteria ;-)

I am norwegian so I guess I will answer.
I know that both BI and CBS have a good reputation when it comes to MBA`s.
For BI in Norway I can tell that it is a good degree, they are working close to business all the time and are a private school. We do also have NHH who is competing with this school (www.nhh.no), and should also be considered. They have a very good network for the students after they have finished their degree. And they get accepted to any job here.
When it comes to your decision, the CBS have a bright focus on international business.
Norway is of course very expensive living, that goes especially if you like to party.. In main you can say, what is not good for you, are expensive ;-) Alcohol, cigarettes..

And there is a smoking ban in public places, clubs, bars, etc. right? Wish we finally had that here in Germany too..

What's the reason for not considering Norway's NHH or Sweden's SSE?

They're both very well established schools in their respective nations, and of course well respected in Scandinavia generally.

Any updates on this? I've found and looked into Copenhagen Business School and Oulu Business School, but are there others in Scandinavia which offer full time MBA programs?

Does Oulu even offer a full-time MBA in English anymore? I know they launched it maybe two years ago but haven't heard anything about it since then.

As far as I know, this and Copenhagen are the only accredited two schools in the region offering these English-language programs. A lot of good EMBA programs there, though: Sweden's SSE and Gothenburg come to mind.

On their website Oulu says that the next intake of the full time program will start in 2016. Maybe they skipped a year? I'll ask them and find out.

I thought they only had one intake very two years because it's a two year program.

Oh, that would make sense. I'm not planning on starting until 2016 anyway so that would probably be fine with me. Any comments on this program?

It's a huge school with a correspondingly wide range of courses. Educationally, Id say it would be good. http://www.oulu.fi/sites/default/files/content/Courses%20in%20English%202015-2016.pdf However, placement services will be limited and the opportunities for people who do not speak Finnish or Swedish might be limited. I'd certainly suggest you go in advance and take an intensive language course.

I realize that this is an old thread but I am considering some of the same schools as you and I was hoping you could give us an update on what you decided to do. Thanks!
