I was considering looking for MBA degrees in Sweden, because a couple of people on this site said that they might be free, and I can't pass up a bargain like that.
BUT I just read the new article on this website about MBA degrees in Scandinavia - and apparently, while the fees are covered by the government - there are no programs in English!
AND they're going to introduce fees next year for students from outside Europe!
But then I started thinking - maybe this will motivate schools there to start offering English language programs - I'd imagine that they would be able to charge a lot more for the programs if they were billing students directly, than if the government was picking up the tab.
We'll probably learn more about this transition through the McGill case study too - they're going to privatize their program next year as well...
