many thanks for your advice earlier, I have re-planned my MBA application and got con-offer from WBS. But now I am not sure whether I should go for other better-ranked schools like IC ( maybe the best I can give a try).
My background: 5 years digital + E-commerce experience in shanghai & hongkong

My GMAT: N/A take warwick test instead
My IELTS: will take it in Jan. 2020
The goal after MBA: step into the consulting area in UK

I understand for the overall ranking & international students' placement WBS is almost the best, but will IC be better or any other school you recommend? consider the 2 years working visa policy the competition in UK job market 2021 will be soooo intense that's the reason why I am asking this.

IC is not better than Warwick if your goals are employment and international mobility. If you have not taken GMAT or IELTS you are disqualified from the best programmes. At the very least, you should consider Esade or HEC, maybe Cambridge.

If you don't have the right to work in the USA, then it's probably not a great plan. Take a semester as an exchange student. I did that. Great experience.

I am 15 Years Experienced professional in capital Market Industry ( equity derivatives) based in Paris. I want to make a career change and I am interested in topics related to design thinking and problem solving for career as business designer, etc.. and eventually Private equity / Venture Capital. I want to do a 1Y full time MBA, no specific constraints in terms of mobility. Looking for advice on best MBA in terms of placement, reconversion and best ROI.
PS: Not willing to consider EMBA because I want a full time experience and to change environment.

So, first you need to make a choice: high NPV (higher salary, high confidence of placement) or high RoI (Minimal investment, but much more modest growth). I recommend the former, and I think that means LBS (either the 15 month MBA or the Sloan programme), Cambridge or IMD for you.

My choice will be the former one : high ROI. I considered the Sloan programs but it still very expensive in USA ( almost 180k) and I was asking myself about the LBS Sloan Program and its benefits ( get the foot in the door in the above mentionned professional career choices) since it's not an MBA but a Master in Leadership and Strategy.

IMD is very good but I am afraid that they recommend me an Executive MBA because of my working experience.

I'm not sure I understand you. The former in my list was high NPV and the latter was high RoI. You need to focus on the value of these courses, not their costs. It doesn't matter that the Sloan MSC is not an MBA.

What I don't recommend is focussing on RoI rather than NPV.

My Bad, for the misunderstanding. I thought that you were recommending me to focus on high ROI. So you would recommend me to look at IMD, Cambridge and Sloan MSC.

These are very good schools, IE especially if you speak and write business level Spanish. I'm not sure what I can say that isn't already reflected in the new FT MBA ranking and in other threads on this site.

THX a lot for your support. I am asking these questions because, I completed a Post Graduate Diploma from Said Business School and was axpecting a good outcome, but no significant change here in paris... so I am trying to make the "right choice" .

Those diplomas are not very well understood and, as I understand it, don't actually make you an alumnus of the university. You get a fraction of the MBA curriculum, yet pay more than some triple crown MBAs.

Sure, This Diploma made me a Said Business School alumnus...
As mentionned ealier, really interested in career in design thinking, PE, VC and no mobilty constraints. I fully followed your recommendations and came up with the same results as you 've mentionned above: LBS, Cambridge and IMD even for IMD no visibilty about its placement in VC or PE and Thank you for that.
Just to increase my possibilities, would it make sense to Consider Warwick vs IE for IE vs Warwick for Job in PE/VC, and or Investment banking ?
I also looked at 2 universities outside Europe
HKUST , what do you think about it according to my projects?
