Yes, my point was that you don't automatically become an alumnus of the university. Unlike degree students, who all matriculate as members of a college of the university and thiys become alumni of the university, non-degree students don't join the university and only access the school's alumni network.

Warwick is much better, especially since I don't think you have mentioned that your Spanish is at the highest level.

Concerning Oxford, I have an Alumni number and we were related to St Hugh's... as you've mentionned, I belong only to Oxford Business Alumni not Oxford University alumni which makes a Big difference.

I sent my resume for a review ( Ivey, Hkust, St Gallen, Cambridge) and almost all the schools (except warwick) told me that with 15 years of experience, I am senior and would better fit an EMBA... I am seeking a year break for many reasons.... 2 options actually Sloan Program of LBS and Warwick.. if you any idea, please advise.

I am not surprised that the schools you mentioned declined you (See https://poetsandquants.com/2014/04/16/overcoming-b-schools-20-something-preference/). You need to look for programmes with a higher average age: The programmes modelled on the Sloan programme (LBS fellowship, Stanford MSx, Nanyang Fellows), IMD, USC IBEAR and the schools that recruit more senior people are the ones to focus on (Go to http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-ranking-2020 add in "Careers" and look for schools with a high salary and larger score for careers such as IMperial, Durham and Warwick).

Tkank you Duncan, As you've mentionned, Warwick is ok with my profile. I did not know about Nanyang Fellows, but the programme looks very good...they have a starting MBA in July and with the Corona V, it might be a very good opportunity, the only one issue is that they ask for a CEO ( or its equivalent) recommendation letter, which is almost impossible to get for me. USC IBEAR, I am on it, good option also... Durham and Imperial are good ones too..

A client of mine was just admitted to Nanyang. That is an amazing programme and they are more flexible this year, trying to get more private sector people in. Maybe speak to them....

I have read through this thread with much interest. As a European (without UK citizenship or residency), I am especially interested in how this will impact people like me once Brexit has taken hold.

I was initially planning on doing the LBS MBA, but since my question is rather general in terms of UK programs, I am posting on this thread here.

What do you think of the situation for Europeans studying in the UK with the intention of working there after the MBA? I understand that there are visa options in place, and that schools like LBS are reasonably successful in placing students in firms which can help out with the bureaucracy, but I have to say that Brexit is adding a layer of uncertainty to my decision on when to pursue my MBA, as well as 'where.'

I anticipate a post-MBA career in investment banking. The US is off the table for the moment. Insead is a popular choice among people with my goals, but alas my French is poor. I still am holding out hope for LBS and being able to stay and work in London!

LBS is one of the top schools in the world. If you get accepted into their full time MBA you will almost certainly get into an excellent job. Brexit reduces the supply of talent, and I find it hard to think that there will not be a favourable arrangement for people in the UK. If you arrive here this year you will have pre-settled status.

Many people don't know about the pre-settled scheme, a deal made between UK and EU in the case of no-deal brexit
If you go to UK this year, you become pre-setted and can stay there 5 years (and more later as settled or citizen - effectively forever). This is in case of no further deal - this deal already exists and it is active since last year.
Make sure to read about this on the government website to have the most up to date info.

Yes, they will hash out the Brexit issues - although there is still a bit of uncertainty here, I don't think EU citizens will be making risky decisions by choosing to study at schools like LBS. Especially if they start this year.

NUS MBAs rate the schools career services poorly, which is a criterion for this list which this filtered it out.
