Generally speaking, an online MBA could work for your situation and career goals. However, you'll want to connect with the schools you are looking at and ask them specifically about how the programs line up with your expectations.

Start with the FT's online MBA ranking. IE's program is the top ranked, and while it does look a bit outside your budget, they do usually offer some kind of financial aid packages which would get the cost down a bit. Warwick's program is a bit less expensive, and has reasonably comparable post-MBA salary increases.

Usually, the online MBA programs that offer short on campus residencies are better than those that don't, in terms of soft skill development and networking opportunities.

Just keep in mind, however, compared to a completely in-class program, online MBA programs don't provide the same level of career support after the program.

Good idea, the only problem is that most of online mba are general one with no specialization except maybe i.e ones but which is like you said really expensive.

I've been through many post about online mba and found really interesting view in particular from Dunkan and some others. What I've noticed so far are:

- go with a gmat one
- go with those who offer short campuses residencies
- go with those which are fully accredited
- career support aren't so great in DL campuses

These are all good programs. If you are considering these I wouldn't even think about Liverpool, given that it's not internationally accredited or ranked.

I'm not sure if I understand your question. In general, if you want to stay in Europe I would think that a European degree would hold more value than an American one. However, online MBA programs don't have the same level of career support as in-class full-time programs, so I am not sure that either would hold a substantial advantage over the other.

Most online MBA programs don't offer concentrations, that's the nature of the degree, especially with such narrow focus. Northeastern's online program offers a specialization in Marketing, I have a feeling that that's about as close as you'd get. Others might offer electives in branding, etc.
