Hello guys,
I´ve been researching some full-time MBA programs in the last few months and would really appreciate any help to confirm that I am going in the right direction. I´ll try to give as much info as possible to make things easier.
About me: I am 26 years graduated in Business Administration with 6 years work experience (considering 1 as an intern) and currently working with Sports Rights Acquisition in a Media Group/ TV Channel. I am Brazilian and live in Rio de Janeiro but I also have the European Passport due to Italian Citizenship.
What do I look for:
1) To start the programme as soon as possible considering that I still don´t have not even started the preparation for GMAT so as I don´t know if starting in April/15 is feasible but if not my deadline would be September/15. Therefore maybe it would be more realistic not to consider an high score on the GMAT due to the lack of time for preparation.
2) The programme to be around 1-year length, I don´t want to be focused only in studying for much longer then this (for example I am not considering LBS due to being at least 15 months) and so the 10 months programmes seem really interesting to me but it can be a little longer as well.
3) To be in Europe and taught exclusively in English but in an non-english speaking country as I would like to learn another language.
4) To have an diverse offer of Electives related mainly to Marketing/Media, Sustainability and social/environmental related subjects if possible with opportunity of field trips. Also I am really not into numbers so I would like to avoid any schools that the curriculum is focused on finance, economics or accounting.
5) The curriculum to be challenging but not to be extremely rigorous as I aim to have some time to enjoy the experience of living abroad and also to work on some personal projects.
So far my list of schools that attend most of the above are:
ENSEAD, Bocconi, IE, CBS, ESSEC, Erasmus, ESIC, Manheim, EDHEC and ESMT.
Any suggestions on schools that I should add or remove from the list?
If there is any school in NYC with an one year program I could consider it as well even being in the US but I don´t see any with an one year program.
Sorry for the long message but any help would be really appreciated as I need to make an decision the soonest.
Many thanks!
