Hi ,
I require an expert advice for my MBA admission.I have received admission from ESCP Europe, Frankfurt school of finance and management ,EBS and Pforzheim for MBA program.
I am really confused with which business school to go on. I like the curriculum of Frankfurt MBA but the cost of MBA there is around 37k.Does investing such huge money at Frankfurt worth it.
I got an 7.5k admission grant from ESCP Europe but since I want to target Germany for future being at Paris does for my needs. I have talked with ESCP Alumni and they have said that ESCP Berlin is not highly regarded as Paris.ESCP is more regarded in France than Germany.
Pforzheim and EBS provide affordable MBA but they are not that highly ranked.
I have another option of WHU but for April intake with 5k discount on fee.
Shall I go for September intake with ESCP or Frankfurt or shall I wait for April intake and improve my German language skill and then go for WHU.By the way I have just started learning German.
Could you please advice me as soon as possible because I have to decide by 3 July for Sept intake. And I am really confused.

I think you have answered your own question. If you German can benefit from improvement then the April entry to WHU is perfect. Few students rise more than one language level during a year of MBA so if you enter with only A2 you will be at B1 by the end. That's not good enough for a wide range of jobs. Therefore put more time into learning the language.

Ranking and reputation do seem to matter because better schools alumni earn more than those of worse schools. WHU alumni earn more than Frankfurt alumni so, as your focus is on high earnings, that is a better fit. MBA courses at excellent schools are much better value for money because their have a much higher net present value than an MSc from a state university.

I think you could have worked this out yourself with a little research.

I am sure it's the same in every country: the average MBA without international accreditation is very different from an MBA from a top school partly because the top MBA recruiters go to top schools.

On that thread John's point is about the mainstream economy, where the 99% work. If you are targeting the minority of roles that require an excellent MBA then take one. This, as John says, a small niche market which is why there are few serious MBA Programmes there, and they are small.
