There are no MBAs in IT east of Ontario:

What about something that's not strictly east coast? There are a few programs in Montreal that I'd recommend:

There's Concordia - while they don't have a concentration in IT, their information services department offers a pretty robust selection of IT electives

Also, check out HEC Montreal - they offer a track in information technology management.

Keep in mind that you'll probably have to put in another couple of work experience to get into these schools (admitted students at HEC have on average 3 years of experience; at Concordia it's 5+ years.)

I am yet to appear for GMAT but Dal MBA seems to be an attractive package.

While the long-term, structured corporate residency (some call it a glorified internship) may look like a good idea - I'm a bit skeptical of the Dalhousie MBA program, overall. It's not accredited by an international accreditation organization and it's not ranked in any rankings.

I'd think if you could land your residency with a growing, Nova Scotia-based company, and then wow them with your skills and expertise, I think you might be able to land a good job with said company afterwards. However, I've heard that only about 60-70% of Dal grads end up with a job after graduation (compared to 90%+ of grads of more reputable programs.) That points to some of the main drawbacks of getting an MBA from a non-accredited institution: lack of graduate support and alumni networks.
