Even as ESSEC SMIB is recognised pan EU? I thought the networking would be huge that will be a deciding factor! I know French barrier is maximum but it was the lure of brand that made me apply to ESSEC. Why do you think my goals would not be reached with ESSEC?

ESSEC's degrees will be recognized as real academic degrees anywhere in the world. However, that doesn't mean that the EESEC SMIB has the same value everywhere, or even that alumni of the flashship grande ecole programme at ESSEC think the SMIB is on the same level. ESSEC is a great Parisan brand: you are not looking for work in Paris.

I'm looking for work in EU but yes, having stayed in GER & being more accustomed to the language & people there, I would prefer to be in GER than FRA. Also, does a college like TIAS in the Netherlands makes sense to invest in, especially in comparision to ESb/ESSEC?.

TIAS would absolutely make sense if you were focused on the Catholic Dutch-speaking regions (Flanders, the three southern provinces of The Netherlands). Europe has local labour markets and few schools in one language area are well known in another (Tilburg is well known in Flanders, and HSG is well known in Germany, for example). Focus on your goals, and the schools that best meet your goals.

German market is obviously way bigger than the Dutch market. TIAS was always an option because of the career outcomes (in quick time). It's career team is ranked highly. Of course, my preference will be Germany, no doubt. ESB Vs TIAS, that is it for now.

I don't think TIAS claims to be able to place its international students more quickly than average into work. MiM placement is only 82%, and the MiF is only slightly better.

It is hard to let go of admits from ESSEC SMIB, TIAS MBA & HHL MBA...all for ESB Reutlingen. But, I belive it will be a better choice than most. Except maybe Bayes/Bath MiM in the UK?

Wanting to understand what goals is Germany good for. I have a technical masters in Biotech and transitioning into Life Sciences / Management Consulting - this is my goal. Working towards language fluency, would Germany be a good option?
And also could you please tell me for what goals are countries like Netherlands, FRA & UK good for? Thanks so much!

Starting out as an Associate/Junior Consultant is my aim post-MBA/MSc. The networking power of a biiger school such as HHL is paramount in this regard. But so are skills in German. Considering my affinity & financials involved, ESB looks a decent option to give a go. ESSEC would require me to start French skills from basic - not realistic at all. Atleast having a German level would give me a headstart in that space. What do yo think?
