please help in finding the right place to do MBA/ shortlist B schools

Hi,
i am bit confused in choosing a right place to pursue MBA and shortlisting Business schools.
I am from India. I hold 8 + years of work experience in IT industry containing 4 yrs international experiences in UK,Denmark,singapore & Dubai. Currently doing project management from India.

Please advise which region would bringin more prospects by doing an MBA now. Is it US, canada UK or Australia with the current market scenarios/downturns/recessions.......etc

And the best business schools i could join. I havent attempted GMAT so far.

I think there are a couple of other variables that matter more than the region: the quality of the school if more important than the country. If you look at the FT rankings (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-ranking-2013) there are schools all over the world.

Having said that, the US continues to be the major market for MBA education. There's lots of international hiring done in the top US schools, especially Wharton, Harvard, Berkeley, MIT and Columbia. I think a top US school is a really strong investment with a worldwide, long-term value.
