May I ask you to please guide me. I am a dentist living in UAE with 2.5 years of experience and am looking for a career change, in management ( not necessarily in healthcare). I do not have a GMAT score but I am planning to prepare for it as I know the top rated schools want that. I can not afford to leave my job and join a Full Time MBA, because to be honest I can not afford them. So I am thinking to take an online MBA. But my concern is whether studying online instead of face to face with no prior business education a good idea ? Or do you suggest that it is better to take some pre MBA courses first before getting started? Also , can you please suggest online MBAs that offer to finish the course within 12-18 months ?

Studying online is very well discussed on this site. If you don't need to change career or cannot take a full-time course then it's a good option. You will benefit greatly from a full-time MBA, even if you need to borrow to pay the fees.

I don't think Geneva has the right to issue awards recognised as degrees by the Swiss government. York St John and Cumbria, which I think issue RKC degrees, will be better.

pansah, did you check out Leicester? It is overall pretty strong in Clinical and Health fields (in undergraduate rankings), and has AMBA accreditation.

An MSc in health management or policy could be less costly. Perhaps a better university might be available to you if you focussed on what outcomes you want rather than the MBA title, despite the quality of the university.
