Aston or Brunel MBA?

Hi ,
I am an engineering graduate from India with almost 8 years of experience in marketing
I am planning for a mba in jan 2021( applied late)
I have offer from :
1.Aston mba -
2 Brunel mba
3 Essex

Awaiting :
1. Strathclyde
2. Liverpool
Can some one pls suggest which is better - Aston or Brunel? Which respect to ROI and post mba employement.( considering job prospects in uk )

Any suggestions would be great.

If you want to work in the UK you should aim at much better schools. The QS and Economist rankings have data on average employment rates.

I don't think there's a notable difference, but I suspect Aston might be better because there's less competition for jobs in Birmingham than in London. Perhaps an alternative might be an MSc at a better business school? Those are often cheaper and can be easier to enter.

Other things being equal, an MBA is better. However, an MSc from an excellent school will lead to work and an MBA from an average school will not. Take a look at the FT Master's in management and master's in finance rankings.

I have got offer letter from Strathclyde also.
how would you rate Strathclyde as compared to Aston ( considering the high fee structure also)

I still had a major doubt.. why is Strathclyde ranking falling ever year. In fact qs ranking puts Aston above Strathclyde ( pls correct me if I am wrong)

You have to make choices. At the start of this thread, UK job prospects were a primary criterion for you. The QS data show that Strathclyde is the better option on that criterion.

More or less all UK and US schools fall every year because newer MBAs in the rest of the world are maturing.

If you want a school that has better employment AND a better ranking, then you need to apply to better schools.

I would not rely too heavily on the QS ranking. Its methodology is nowhere near robust enough to be able to compare this level of schools, on these metrics, to any degree of certainty.

Better to look back to previous FT rankings to the time when the schools were ranked. At least then you have a general baseline which you can extrapolate from.

I think it's worth say that the 'traditional' business schools are not falling in quality, or in outcomes, but rather schools in the rest of the world are joining the top tier.
