Global Rankings are Out

Happy to report that LBS, Cambridge and Warwick all climbed nicely in the rankings and together with Oxford came in the top 25.
Manchester and Cranfield now both rank higher than 40th. Of course we know rankings aren't everything and some regular pundits here have their pet schools.
Full disclosure: I am a grad student doing my MBA from Warwick and incredibly proud of the way the school has grown and I have found the quality of the lessons and material to be superb.

ESMT enters the top 100 (#89). Seems like German business school are slowly catching up. Mannheim is ranked #66.

LSE? No, the LSE is not in that ranking. It doesn't have a full-time MBA. It's London Business School, its sister school in the University of London, which moved up to third place in the ranking.

Very interesting to see some medium-ranked programmes fall out, perhaps because of low participation rates, like CUHK (27 last year) and Iowa (74). I would expect them to return next year.
Otherwise, the top 85 schools from last year are all in this year's ranking -- not a very eventful year in that respect. The other schools off the ranking this year are Korea, Incae, Weatherhead, Mason, Cox, Moore and Alberta.
I'm very happy to see the IIM-B back in, and rather surprised to see Durham which is in the bottom five for salary and bottom for salary growth.

Carlson is coming back in the ranking at a nice 54th place as well.

Wow, US schools are looking good this year: big gains by Washington Foster, Boston University, Wisconsin, Smeal, Marshall, etc. Could mean that American schools are rebounding after a couple of years in the pits.
