Hello guys!

I would like to get an advise to decide among MBS &Cass & Warwick.

My personal profile is in the following;

3 years audit&acc exp. at PwC Turkey
4 years exp in a com. bank in Russia (international experience)

I am looking for a move to M&A department of an IB or to a management consultancy position with a focus on banking. Despite knowing the tough job market, I would like to stay in London but I would be also willing to come back to Moscow as well.

I know that Cass has a good reputation in finance but I loved the programme of MBS. Furthermore, if I go to MBS, I would have the opportunity of doing an intern which may bring me a decent job(Actually I have a big question mark). Warwick looks like a good option considering its fee and living expenses.

Could you please share your opinion?

Especially, I would like to hear from Duncan since he worked for Deloitte and had studies in both Cass and MBS.

MBS is perhaps a better programme overall, but because of its City of London location and strong finance skills, Cass should be your choice between these schools.

Why not study in the US?

About your question
1) I have never thought USA as an option since most of MBA programmes were 2 years but I started to consider MBS as an alternative when I learned about its content

2) I presume that being in UK (close to London) would increase my chances for job in London.

Have you ever seen or known a Cass MBA who got a job in IB (without a prior IB experience)? What would be the chances for an interview invitation when there will around 400 LBS MBA graduate in the city.

Don t you think that for a consultancy position MBS has a huge advantage against Cass considering its curriculum and internship opportunity? Could you please elaborate on your suggestion? Why Cass? Why not MBS?

Lastly, you even did not comment on Warwick though the quality of its education is well regarded and is close to London.

Well, neither Manchester or Cass will provide a smooth route into the top-tier management consultancies. But they have similar sized networks of consultants in firms like:
Ernst & Young
PA Consulting Group
Accenture
KPMG
Deloitte
IBM
Capgemini
PwC.

Internships are nice for consulting but one years school like Cranfield, Henley, and Ox/bridge do just as well as Manchester.

Cass certainly is stronger for IB. Other than LBS and Insead, it's the best MBA route into IB.
