I will do the search in the same portal. I wanted to know if i am late in applying for all the MSc courses in the Unis mentioned above coz I submitted the applications last week only.

And in Strathclyde I have applied for a course Masters in Business manamgement which can be converted to MBA by submiiting a separate dissertation sort of a report to the University once I get this degree. But meanwhile I shud have gained atleast 2-3 yrs of work ex. wud u give me a go ahead for this course...coz I dont wanna land up in a situation where the corporates are luking for MSc or an MBA and I dont have both...

Please lemme kno...

To be honest, you are indeed late! Applications accepted from Oct...peak time is Jan-Feb...deadline mostly during June.
Now that you have already submitted the application, take a chill pill and be optimistic...do not bother urself of useless anxiety and enjoy buddy!
Oh! After conversion into Strath-MBA you still get to keep your MSc degree with you...nobody gonna take that away from you! lol!! Both MSc and MBA have their own popularity with the business houses...so go ahead and accept if Strath gives you a call!

Stirling Management School might be good but I am sorry I dont know much about it...In fact, I have heard about it for the first time from your post...Would be good if other members post their comments about Stirling...

A B School is known by the no of accreditations it holds. Better check it out with Stirling....

As for the MSc courses...All the B Schools are highly reputed..Manchester, Strathclyde and Lancaster leading the pack.

Hey to add...to the above query...I also wanted to know how good a chance do i stand for getting into MSc in Management/Intl Business MAnagement course in the below mentioned Unis:

1. Lancaster Uni
2. Manchester
3. Nottingham
4. Starthclyde
5. Bath
6. Bristol

To give a brief heads up about my Profile :

- Secured 71% aggregate in my last degree - BE from VTU
- not yet given my IELTS/TOEFEL
- Strong SOP,LORs - 2 LORs from my Engineering college, and another from my work place
Mindtree Ltd
- I have not highlighted my work experience in my SOP,although I have 2 yrs and 7 months of technical work experience coz they dont wann work ex for the above mentioned course.
- LORs are strong as well.

Please do let me know if i ll be getting offers for the mentioned coy=urse in any of the above mentioned Universities as I have submitted my application only a 10 days back.

about ur profile:
1. I secured 68percent from VTU so urs 71% is quite good.
2. Since u havent taken IELTS/TOEFL, hence I wont be able to tell how much chance u have making it to the B Schools. A good score in IELTS is band-8, Toefl ibt - 105+
3. If you are not showing ur work-ex, ur SOP will not be strong...rather weak. you need to justify the gap to the selectors in ur SOP.
4. If you are not highlighting ur work-ex...LOR from Mindtree cant be sent...

Shyam, I wont be able to say if you will get an admit since I dont have ur SOP or LOR or your transcript...now that u have applied...wait for 4-6weeks...God willing, you will get a seat...have faith in your ability...

But u said u have IT experience of more than 2 yrs...n U have got into Warwick for the MSc in Management program..right? But the website clearly tells that, applicatnts who have more than 18 months of experince need not apply.. thats d reason I dint apply for Warwick...

Cud u suggest if I shud go ahead and apply now to Warwick for the same MSc in management program..

Shud I be considering Cass and few more Unis as well...If u cud list tat down for me..

I dont have exp more than 2 yrs...its just a few days more than 2 yrs...make that just two yrs!! lol!

Read the statement at the warwick website again, it says that ::
"If you havehave more than 18 months of work experience, you will not be eligible to "apply"... the last word is apply not ''study''...At the time of applying to the WBS, my work ex was indeed 18months...17.5 to be precise...so I got accepted...the offer doesnt say that I cant work after 18 months...does it?!!! :) So when I join Warwick in Sept...I will have more than 2yrs work ex...

lol!!! :)

Most schools will be flexible about the amount of work Experience if the other parameters are good(like recommendations, GPA, GMAT ect.)
