Hello Duncan/Stuart,
Hope you are doing well. I am very keen to pursue international masters either in UK or France. I have only 53% in my Bachelors from Indian university. Post my bachelors I worked for a startup in Marketing for 3.6 years. Now I am in a dilemma whether I should go with an MBA or MSc. The goal is to stay back and work for any medium scale industry in the growth marketer field.
I always thought instead of picking up general MSc in marketing, I thought to pursue MSc in marketing & business analysis. What's your take on it? Do you think general MSc marketing programs are much better to have as a degree? Or specialised one would work?
Here are a few universities which I thought to consider for MSc marketing and MSc marketing & business analysis.
MSc marketing :
Durham university
Manchaster
Edinburgh Napier
Grenoble
University of Birmingham
MSc marketing & business analysis :
Cranfield
University of edinburgh
I am also confused about MBA. I read in a couple of other discussion forums that, it seems you are under selling yourself for MSc especially if you have an experience of 3 plus years your focus should be for MBA than MSc.
Considering my work experience and bachelors marks I have shortlisted few, Could please help me with which one should I apply for?
MBA Universities :
University of Strathclyde
Lancaster
Sheffield university
Aston business school
New Castle
IESEG - France
Audencia - France
Any input from your end will be really helpful.
TIA
