Study Part Time with Long Term Tier 2 ICT Visa

Hi,

I will be moving to London next month on a Long Term Tier 2 ICT work visa. I plan to study Masters part time (weekends) for the time I am in UK. I have a IT work experience of more than 4.5 years (in Japan and India) and i planning to go for a Management course (around 1-1.5 year). Is it possible to study along with Tier 2 Visa? Also, which Universities/courses should i prefer if i am staying in London. And is there any special procedure to apply.

The visa is not a problem. But what sort of part-time management programme can you complete in less than two years? If you want an MBA, then look for a programme where the second year electives can be taken in block weeks, so you can travel to them wherever you are. The LBS MBA works like that.

Otherwise, a postgraduate diploma could be an option: Kingston has AMAB accrediation, and involves eight weekend: http://www.kingston.ac.uk/postgraduate-course/management-msc/

For now, i will get a visa for 1.5 years (has a possibility of extension), and due to this i mentioned a management programme as MBA is generally for 2 years.

Also, I can only have weekend courses as i will be working on weekdays. Can you suggest other options i have for MBA (including the one's with 24 months duration) and Management courses apart from the options above.

Imperial has a weekend programme as well. Could evenings work for you? Cass is worth looking at.
