It helps if you tell people what you want to do after your MBA. You've got to do a lot more than to just some around asking some random question. Do your homework and be specific, don't be such a loser hoping for a handout.

Other than that, just go to London Business School

Is pretty cryptic. Maybe in your world, it tells me a hell lot of stuff, like what you want to do after your MBA, what your background is, what additional courses you've taken. Yup, I guess when you're a guy named pavan who's an engineer, you can get all of that out from a one liner.

Actually, come to think of it, I don't think you're actually able to get into London Business School or Wharton or Kellogg, or even Oxford or Cambridge. I guess you could try and prove me wrong, but my money is on that you're not quite able to get in. So yeah, it kinda sucks when you're told about that, but don't worry, I can't get into Wharton either - so we're equal there.

You've asked some pretty relevant questions in this post though, so here's my suggestion. Whether or not it's worth it depends on whether the MBA from that particular university is able to help you get into your post-MBA role.

The best way would be to compare recruitment for the university in that particular role. It's hard to say whether it's worth spending 30k on the b/ham MBA without knowing the class % that go into the post-MBA role that you're interested in.

first of all you dont call someone a looser without even meeting or even knowing them.and then why would i want to get into some school just to prove a point to some stranger by the name fishball.fyi i work for deloitte touche n after the mba in the uk i will continue to work with them till 2013 in london thats the deal n 30% of the tution fee is sponsord by the company n iv done six sigma blackbelt certification as well.you dont have to knw all this...since you have mentioned something bout addtional courses..career..background...i had to mention this.and ya i knw tat you cant get into one those schools for sure..else why would you spend time n energy drafting those posts(crap).luk i dont even knw you..n you dont call someone a looser without even knowing em.

Don't take my calling you a loser out of context - which was in the fact that you are a loser if you're hoping for a handout. Now if you're not hoping for a free handout, then you're not a loser. So the question is, are you hoping for a handout or not?

It's simply because I don't want to get into one of those schools that I have the time and energy to draft replies to you. You seem to take things so personally and have bad writing habits. If you had put all the information you have given in your later posts upfront, it would have been easier to answer your initial post.

Pavan, I read many posts by fishball and I think he/she is really trying to help other people here who are asking specific questions about MBA programs.

I agree with fishball that in your first question you don't provide enough information about your background and your aims to expect a serious reply. If you really do your homework, you should also respect rules of this board, which explicitly do not allow SMS talk like "coz" etc. I sometime wonder why people who intend to do an MBA use such a language. I'm not a native speaker and surely make mistakes, but it's about showing some effort to write like an adult.

Anyway, we are here to help, not to insult each other. So, what exactly did you want to know?
