Your own call but I believe Edinburgh as an institution has much more flair.
It also has a well-designed MBA which caters for more mature candidates. The exchange with top Universities in US/Australia is tempting.

I am looking for a future as an strategic consultant.
Also one point which i want to know is how is the alumini support of these college outside UK. As after doing some research, i a can see that currently it is very difficult for a Non UK citizen to find a job in Uk after course completion. therefore a strong alumini support outside UK will be of great help.

It really depends. What region would you plan on working? Typically for the best international networks you'd need to aim higher, and do an MBA at a school that's more broadly known like Oxford, Cambridge, or LBS. LBS especially, since you're interested in consulting. These schools - plus others with better international mobility scores like Cranfield - will also be much better in terms of landing a job in the UK post-MBA. One of the reasons that Lancaster / Edinburgh / Bath have dropped in the rankings in the past years is that they don't have the same ability to place non-EU students in the UK.

In one of the Earlier post you have mentioned ranking can be manipulated and also if i consider the FT Edinburgh ranking the last audit was done in 2015. IF i leave the ranking factor apart then for Student networking and University recommendation, which one do you think is better.

No. There are ways that schools can edge up the rankings, for example by increasing the number of PhDs, or women students and so on. However, you can see the variables and their values in the UK ranking. What is driving Edinburgh up is salary.

However, I agree with Maury: if you want to work for a strategy consulting firm then you should aim to get into a better school. At the least you should aim for Imperial, Warwick or Manchester. But again Maury is right that it's Oxford, Cambridge, Cranfield and LBS which are the best at placing international students into consulting.
