I'm searching for more information about MBAs in Arts Management. In North America, I know there's the California College of the Arts and I believe Rutgers has a program, but I find the information out here to be slim, probably because there's usually separation from business-minded and arts-minded people. I come from a background in festivals and events management, so I'm wondering if an MBA is the right direction...

Well, a good place to start is on this site, with a little research:
http://www.find-mba.com/article/304/mba-programs-in-design-and-the-arts
To your list of schools to check out, I'd add these:
UCLA
NYU
USC
You should also consider widening your search to include programs not specifically related to arts management. Depending on the specific field you're interested in, sheer proximity to the "scene" might suffice. Think programs in Los Angeles, New York, etc.

I look into these schools, thanks. After doing research I noticed that arts management seems like the suitable program for the festival work I've done and the direction I'd like to go move in. But yes, being close to the scene is definitely wise and might prove to be a more productive step than further education. Thanks for your insight.
