Generally the Hogescholen in Holland are seen a long way below the universities. Without international accreditation, it will not be taken seriously outside the Netherlands.

I was zeroing on that because it was from the existing Economics faculty and also the tuition fees was attractive compared to 30K or 40K in other schools. I am basically looking for a standard quality (not so high or not so low) MBA part time with reasonable fees ( less than 20 K) to have future career growth. Do you or does any body have any advice on this? - thanks a lot.

If you;re looking only in The Netherlands, then TiasNimbas and Maastricht are the best value accredited programmes. Also look at the Euro*MBA.

Thanks Duncan. Yes, I am looking for a programme in Netherlands. Do you mean Maastricht University school of Economics and Business ( not the Maastrict school of Management)? The details in the website sounds good with 6 B -schools consortium and 3 crown accredition. But, the program fees is coming to 33K Euros for this. Is it worth ?How good is this Euro* MBA, in terms of international visibility and among employers? Looking forward to your valuable inputs.

Yes, I was thinking of the university, not the MSM. The Euro*MBA offers you a substantial saving on the part-time MBA at the university and six alumni networks - useful if you do international business.

Either way, an accredited MBA will be an excellent return on investment and, as a rule of thumb, the more you invest the bigger your return. MSM also has AMBA accreditation.

Part-time MBAs generally are for people in work already, so they do not have a lot of good visibility with employers. Generally employers don't come to business schools looking for EMBA candidates.

PS If a modular MBA works for you then perhaps the Durham programme might also work? http://www.dur.ac.uk/dbs/degrees/mba/pt/ That fits into your 20,000 euro budget.

Thanks Duncan for the valuable inputs. I think , now I could make a choice between Euro* MBA or Durham BS DLMBA as both looks suitable for me. Euro * MBA is higher on budget but comes with other advantages like residential weeks and 6 B schools consortium. DBS is advantageous cost wise and more importantly a modular programme which gives greater flexibility considering my professional and financial obligations. I hope I can decide sooner keep sharing the details to this forum which was of great help so far.
