please keep in mind that all schools you have mentioned are Universites of Applied Science (Fachhochschulen). That means, their academic quality is much lower in comparison with normal universities, that they are all not internationally accredited (and that they will never have the chance to get accredited) and that they will never have the chance to get internationally ranked. In Germany, they are all not well known in the business community and I can't imagine that they offer a high quality placement service.

I went thru a couple os sites like eduniversal and daad, as per which hoschule furtwangen is mentioned as a decent school.
i am not planning to apply for any of the top universities for the primary reason that it is very expensive and it is beyond my reach.So was looking for good places from where after the course i stand a chance for a decent placement.
So do any of these 3- hoschule furtwangen, university of applied sciences bremen and berlin school of law and economics fit into this criteria.

Hi I am rajit. Got admission and accepted the seat at Berlin School of Economics and Law for sept 2009 session. I have 5 years of work experince. I interacted with past students of this institute.This MBA is truly international MBA and myself accepted the seat as the tuition fees is quite cheap about euros 12500 for 15 months. Regards to Job prospects, one really needs good command over German language and it all boils down to your skills in your intership. If you can impress with your work i am hopeful with good german and related work experience you may find yourself lucky with a job in germany.

why not go for universidad Carlos III? it is AMBA accredited - which is good. it is also supposed to be know internationally, and is of fair price(12 000 paid in three turns with a non refundable 3000 after the application is completed).

I choose Germany because of my strong engineering background and 5 years of international job experience in sales and marketing. Further i have also completed 4 levels of german language certicate course ( each level needs 4 months) from Goethe Institut.(Max Mueller Bhavan as known in India)

it is actually a good idea for someone with your background to study in Germany, and your acquired language skills can come in handy - although Germans, in general do speak English, they do often prefer to speak German, not to mention the bureaucracy.....

be sure check the list of companies recruiting from this school, to see if it fits your career goals.

Even i am considering carlos III, if anybody could help me with an understanding of the job prospects after an MBA in spain it would be of great help. How easy or difficult is it to for a foreigner to get a job in spain ?

you should search the board here for relevant information - start by just searching for Spain, or for one of the big school names, and you will get tons of information.

In my opinion, an MBA of any of these schools is helpful if you are likely to stay in these countries, as they are nationaly known.

German Universities of Applied Sciences are good schools for graduate management education, as the MBA was formely introduced to provide applicable managements skills, and not to form academics. You should consider choosing an academic university if you want pursue an academic carreer.

@JohnnyL: By the way, if you consider that a lot of french "Grandes écoles de commerce" are internationally accredited (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB), you will notice that also universities of applied sciences will be able to fulfill the accredition requirements. They follow the same educational and academic principles.

I advise you to have a look into some Facebook groups to meet people doing an MBA at these business schools.
