I think this really depends on your goals and your educational needs.
- Cohort. WHU has a younger, more international cohort. The HHL cohort seems much more experienced.
- General vs specialized. The WHU degree seems focussed on general management, and seem to have less scope for doing deeply int one area. HHL has a clear choice: 3 of 7 of elective 'extensions' and access to exchange programmes and dual degree options. I took my MBA part-time, and really appreciated the chance to take a term full time at Dartmouth College, HHL's exchange school in the Ivy League.
