Cranfield, unless you speak Dutch.
hey Duncan, i received offers from the Sheffield University and from Cranfield in MiM and in Supply chain management. Can u suggest me which university to go for . Now the demand for SCM course is higher due to the covid 19 pandemic so SCM course is better than the MiM right? Overall which is the best business school for an international student. Cranfield or Sheffield.

Hello Duncan,
Although this is an old post of yours. I wanted to know in today's time and age, which is better course to do? ESCP MiM / HEC MiM / ESSEC MiM?
I am 26 year old, Indian with years of work experience at senior level position. My goal from MIM is to get good network, good exposure and few years of work in Europe / UK in Luxury industry. As my background right now is from alcohol industry in India. Given I feel these courses might not hold value in US or India as the uni’s aren’t as famous as an Ivy League.

What is more important: a degree that will get you that job in Europe, or a school that is famous in the US and India?
The way you frame your quesrion, HEC is so obviously the best choice that I wonder why you ask it. The alternative to HEC would not be the Ivy League but a combination of language classes, professional networking, internships etc.
If an Ivy Leage brand matters, doesn't HEC have Ivy League exchange programmes and a double degree MAM path with Yale?

Definitely a good job and networking is priority. I have just been really confused between which one to accept HEC or ESCP MIM? I like both courses but I am not confident on what provides better output for job and networking.
I understand HEC is ranked higher. But does ESCP exposure to both Paris and London make a larger difference in networking?
I am only looking at marketing course here. Not finance or MBA.

Lux is a much smaller industry in London than in Paris. Surely your time would be better spent in Paris rather than taking a semester in London?
