Dear Colleagues,
I am a physician working in an academic institute in the Middle East. I have been doing administrative work in my institute for few years, mainly as head of clinical and academic departments. I want to improve my management skills in healthcare. This may open up more opportunity for me to manage hospital, clinics, research centers in the private of gov. sectors.
I would like to ask what would be the best option for me: an MBA or a MSc? I am looking for an executive program which allows for visits to the study site every 3-4 months so that I can still continue my current work in the hospital. Several of my colleagues have done the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management MBA. I have done a detailed search and found also the Executive MSc Health Economics, Policy and Management in London School of Economics and Political Sciences. I am not sure which one would be better for me, or if there are other options that I have missed. I would appreciate any advice on this.
Many thanks
