I think the FT and Economist rankings show the percent employed after the programme and average salaries.&nbsp;<br><br>There are better schools that don't require the GMAT, most obviously Manchester, but they won't place people more quickly.&nbsp;<br><br>To be honest, it's well worth investing the 50 hours most people put into preparing for the GMAt. The added value is huge.

And therefore reputation of these colleges amongst the employers, in UK, would matter a lot. Can you throw some light on the above points plz. Would be really helpful.<br>

These are not just good, they are very good. But unlike top Indian schools they cannot get everyone placed into employment on the domestic market. The potential to be employed is exactly equal to the percentage employed.&nbsp; Rankings, especially salary and recommendation,&nbsp; are a good guide to reputation but reputation is not the same as getting people placed. That also comes down to careers services, immigration issues and student quality and macroeconomic factors.&nbsp; Durham has improved a lot, for example.&nbsp; Strathclyde has has had very high placement. Those data are in the rankings.&nbsp;

My sense is that probably a majority of successfully admitted international students on these programs - at least those who had concerns about their chances - will indeed have taken the GMAT.

Can you tell me which one are you planning to go for?

Whats your current profile and GMAT score Puja. Even I am applying to UK.&nbsp;

I had offer for FT MBA from Durham, Cranfield, Strathclyde, Leeds, Bath - all with scholorship - without a GMAT score. I did some linkedin search and found that a high percentage of students from India returned to India. After talking to few alumni of these colleges, I rejected all offers.<br>Many times it has been mentioned that any good company, which will hire MBA student for the relevant role, will ask for GMAT score. Considering the economic crises all over the world, and the current situation in the UK, only LBS and Oxbridge are safe options.

I'm not sure that many companies ask for GMAT scores but they see the difference between the schools that require it or the GRE and those who do not.&nbsp;
