My primary goal is to support my technical expertise with a managerial knowledge, which I lack of and being able to start my own business properly in the future.
I'd like to have an international outlook since I've never worked abroad, and I find that kinda limiting.
I wouldn't mind to work in Italy at all, I just feel like I'm missing something.
I noticed that most business school like LBS and Imperial. etc. always ask for 2 reference letters from the actual employer/manager, which is not so common in Italy to ask for...most employers don't support such a choice.

I'm so disappointed with HULT though, it seems like it would be such a big wast of money and time.

This depends on the school. LBS needs two references - one from a current manager; however, a colleague can be asked if you're not comfortable asking your direct supervisor. The other should be someone who knows you well in a work context (former employer or a client for instance.)

Imperial's requirements are even more vague. You need two there as well, and they prefer that one is from your current or recent manager, but this is not a requirement.
